Continuing to Learn, Grow, and Connect at OTAC 2026!

I’m grateful to have attended the 2026 Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado (OTAC) Professional Development Conference! Continuing education is an important part of my commitment to providing thoughtful, evidence-based, and neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy services and I’m so excite to take the connections and learning with me to working together with clients.

Opportunities like this allow me to deepen my knowledge, learn from fellow occupational therapy practitioners, exchange ideas, and continue exploring ways to support meaningful participation in everyday life. I value being part of a profession that embraces ongoing learning, collaboration, and the many ways occupational therapy can help people discover and rediscover joy in their daily occupations.

I particularly enjoyed a session that used table-top role playing game elements and spoon theory to talk about chronic pain and dynamic disabilities. In another one of my favorite sessions, I got the opportunity to connect with other OT’s and entrepreneurs and share resources to help our clients thrive. Seeing the ways that community and connection has space to flourish here was so energizing, and I’m excited to that that energy with me by to Hart and Haven LLC. As always, I’m excited to continue integrating new learning into my practice and supporting neurodivergent teens and adults in building routines, exploring their interests, and becoming their favorite selves.
