Announcing an adaptive yoga class at The Harmonist

I’m excited to co-teach an neuro-inclusive and adaptive yoga class designed to create space for authentic movement, self-connection, and embodied joy.

This class strives to be neuro-affirming, accessible to the core, and trauma-conscious through a blended and gentle approach that honors each person’s unique relationship with their body, movement, and the world around them.

This offering creates space for all of you to show up with in a joyful, embodied way. There is no “right” way to move, no expectation to perform, and no need to change who you are to participate. Instead, this class invites curiosity, choice, and exploration as we discover what feels supportive for your body.

Each class will include:

  • An invitation to move freely and arrive in your body before settling into practice

  • Reflection and journaling to support self-awareness and connection

  • Gentle yoga flow with accessible options and individualized adaptations

  • Closing meditation to support grounding, integration, and rest

This adaptive yoga class is informed by evidence-based occupational therapy and clinical praxis, including principles of interoceptive awareness, nervous system regulation, and meaningful participation in daily occupations.

Whether you are new to yoga, exploring movement after difficult experiences, seeking a more accessible practice, or looking for a space that honors your authentic self, you are welcome here.

If you require additional accommodations, please reach out. We will do our best to support your participation and help create an environment where you can feel comfortable, supported, and empowered.

Come as you are. Move in ways that support you. Discover your own flow.
